Shengke initiated the Conservative Friends of the Chinese in Greater Manchester in Oct 2017, with support from the first British-born Chinese member of the House of Lords, Lord Nat Wei; Geoffrey Clifton-Brown MP, Jake Barry MP and Cllr Sean Anstee, Cllr Jackson Ng, Cllr Xingang Wang and Cllr Alex Yip.
